This report presents the results of the project “Sustainability in Air Transport – Management and Governance in the Provision of Air Navigation Services”, aiming at studying the sustainability in air transport, in Brazil and in the EU, in order to improve the management of air traffic and improve the efficiency of the sector, addressing especially issues such as governance, regulatory framework, safety and infrastructure. This study identifies the successful European experiences related to best practices and sustainable models for the provision of air navigation services.
